Looks like we spoke too soon once again! Despite Hasbro claiming that this was not an official product, new images of Fashion Style Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo have surfaced on Taobao, this time complete with packaging.
Assuming this is the real deal, then fan speculation that she is a special edition Comic-Con pony seems to be correct. It looks like this is as good as we’re going to get until San Diego Comic-Con begins. If confirmed, Derpy will be the very first G4-style Comic-Con pony!
FYI, Comic-Con starts on July 12, 2012 and runs until July 15. There is still the fan designed Comic-Con pony to look forward to as well.

A new Target exclusive set title ‘Pony Rainbow Collection’ has been found. It consists of glittery blind bag versions of the mane six, plus a green boy pony named Emerald Ray.
If you haven’t noticed, several of the new Target exclusive sets we have posted about have a mark that reads ‘Crystal Empire’ with a picture of Princess Cadance, and much of this merchandise is, well, sparkly! This seems to be a promotion separate from the Canterlot Wedding, but I am not sure when it will be released.
This translucent Fluttershy was also found, and fans are guessing that she will be a part of this promotion as well.

The two newest Glimmer Wings (Sweet Song and Diamond Rose) have been found boxed on Taobao. They will be in a double-pack with tinsel-haired Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, respectively, and are Target exclusives. From the looks of it, they will be a part of the wedding promotion.
Toys R Us has their own exclusive double-pack on the way: Riding Along with Rarity and Daisy Dreams! Or in this case, Pony Scooter Friends.
Regular Daisy Dreams was previously believed to be an international exclusive, but it seems that she may have a release state-side after all. There is also a Glimmer Wings Daisy Dreams on the way.

StarDragon at MLP Arena found these figures on eBay. They come from a seller in China who is describing them as Hasbro products, and appear to be small and fully sculpted, suggesting they are similar to blind bag figures. They may also be bootlegs or knock-offs.

I will not be adding these to the G4 Checklist until more information is uncovered, but it’s pretty cool all the same. Even if they do wind up being fakies, they look pretty great and would be a nice addition to any collection.
Four new Playful Ponies were found on Kmart’s website for $6.99 each. They come with wedding-themed accessories and a DVD featuring the episode “Lesson Zero.”
Sources claim that ordering from Kmart’s website is not recommended as they will not mail you the pony pictured, replacing it with a different G4 pony. This is likely a case of Kmart listing new products too early. Similar instances have happened in the past with unreleased pony playsets, so no surprises there. Still, it’s nice to see these toys boxed and ready to go!
Another interesting note: notice the box art? No recolored mane six vectors here! Hasbro is really stepping it up for their Canterlot wedding promo.
